Серп Валар. Валакирка - название астеризма "Большой Ковш", часть созвездия Большой Медведицы. Он состоял из семи великих звёзд.

Варда создала Валакирку около 1050 Года Древ перед пробуждением Эльфов. Она расположила его высоко в северном небе, как предупреждения и знак рока для Моргота, чья крепость Утумно была расположена далеко на севере Средиземья.
