Каленхад (Calenhad)

Шестой из Сигнальных Холмов Гондора. У Каленхада на вершине имелась площадка, покрытая зелёным дёрном. Он был относительно невысоким холмом, хотя и выше Эреласа. Подобно Эреласу, сигнальный огонь Каленхада зажигался только в случаях величайшей нужды, как в Войне Кольца.
Этимология
Кале́нхад (Calenhad)
Название Каленхад на Синдарине означает «зелёное место». Оно произошло от покрытой травой вершины. Элемент calen означает «зелёный», а had (от sad) - «место, пятно».
